Don Julio Añejo is a luxury tequila, aged in small batches for eighteen months in American white oak barrels. It represents the art of aging tequila to achieve a superior flavor profile.
It shows a light yellow color and clarity. The aroma features expressions of vanilla and woody caramel notes. On the palate, the flavor is rich and distinctive, balancing agave, wood and vanilla, with an essence of wild honey underlying.
The finish is slightly spicy, with notes of dark chocolate, extending to a long, gratifying finish. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
