The KitchenAid K400 blender is designed to make a wide range of recipes with ease: smoothies, creams, sauces, nut butters, gazpacho and purées in no time.
Performance comes from KitchenAid’s exclusive vortex and the professional 3-piece mixing system: an asymmetric blade that cuts at four angles, a serrated jar that returns contents to the blade, and an adaptive Intelli‑Speed motor with up to 1.5 HP (1200W) that detects the jar contents to maintain optimal speed.
The 1.4L glass jar resists odors and scratches and includes volume markings for measuring without a separate cup. The lid has a removable piece for adding ingredients (such as oil or vinegar) while blending. Both jar and lid are dishwasher-safe.
The control panel offers 5 speeds, 3 automatic programs (ice crush, frozen beverages and smoothies) and a soft-start function to prevent splatters. There is also a simple automatic cleaning cycle: fill the jar halfway with water, add dish soap and run the cycle.
